Obituary for Agatha Nicholas Fagan (Selevos)

Agatha N. Fagan, who was 66 years old, passed away in her sleep on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. Aggie, as she was known to all her friends and family, was preceded in death by her parents, Nicholas and Aristoula Selevos, her brother, Harry, and her beloved dog, Zoe. Aggie was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. In her younger years she worked in family restaurants and got a degree in psychology at the University of Pittsburgh before marrying and having her first child, Nicholas. After Nick was born, she joined the Pittsburgh Police Department and went on to be the first female trained as a motorcycle officer and later went into training new officers. Aggie then remarried and had her second child, Kristen. At this time Aggie decided to stay home and raise her children. She was a bit of a tough mom, but she would also regularly be the loudest parent on the sideline at Nick’s basketball games or Krissy’s soccer games. Aggie was known to show up to the games with a cow bell and ring it while cheering on her kids. As her kids grew up, Aggie went back into the workforce as a bank fraud investigator. As her health began to decline she had to retire from, what she claimed to be, her favorite job as an Internal Fraud Investigator at Wells Fargo. Until her untimely end she spoke highly of her coworkers and of the work that they accomplished over the years. Outside of her family and work, Aggie loved gardening, animals, the holidays and fancy shoes. She also really enjoyed donating to local charities and helping others in need. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent on behalf of Aggie to your local food bank or homeless shelter.
