Obituary for Albert Allen Still

Albert A. Still, lifelong resident of Burlington County, passed away on Tuesday, March 23rd, 2021 at the age of 87.

Albert was born in Mt. Holly, NJ to the late Catherine and Albert V. Still, but currently resided in Mt. Laurel, NJ. He worked as a Truck Driver for many years and bravely served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. In his free time, Albert enjoyed watching television and western movies, but above all, he enjoyed spending time and having fun with his family.

Albert was predeceased by his beloved wife of over 20 years in 1991, Margaret Still; his daughter, Sharon Harris; his grandson, John Brown, Jr.; eight of his siblings, Leon, Joe, Melvin, Paul, Emma, Irma, Robert and Yvonne; and three son in laws, Amos Harris, Alan Robinson and Don Seamon.
He is survived by his children, Linda Robinson, Ann Whitman (Robert), Gwen Seamon, Deborah Still (Vernon), Annette Black (Bob), and Nina Brown (John); his siblings, Joan Still and Vernon Still. Also survived by 17 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are welcome to his viewing on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 10:00AM-12:00PM, followed immediately by a service. Both will be held at Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Rd, Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054. At the request of the family, final disposition will be private.

The family wanted to include the following poem to celebrate the life of Albert:
I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one,
I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun
Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.
