Obituary for Alfreda Tarka (Czechowski)
Alfreda Tarka, age 101, of Moorestown, NJ passed away while surrounded by loving family on Monday, December 16, 2019.
Mrs. Tarka was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA before moving to South Jersey in 2006. Alfreda had a soft spot in her heart with regards to animals, and always had a pet dog or cat in the house. In her leisure, she enjoyed visiting the beach with family and taking walks in the park and sewing. But above all else, she cherished the time spent with family, especially at the family gatherings, and will be deeply missed by those she leaves behind.
Alfreda was predeceased by her beloved spouse, Edward A. Tarka, in December of 2012. She is survived by her sons, Edward F. Tarka, Thomas Tarka (Angela Sabol); grandchildren, Sarah Tarka, Leah Tarka, Edward A. Tarka (Katherine), Christine M. Fairall; great-grandchild, Violet.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 21st at Lutheran Crossings at Moorestown, 255 East Main Street, Moorestown, NJ. Final disposition will be private. A light reception will be held at: Harvest seasonal Grill Moorestown Mall afterwards. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Alfreda's name may be made to Lutheran Crossings at Moorestown, at the above address.
