Obituary for Annamarie Theresa Macchione
Annamarie Theresa Macchione, 36, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Ventnor Heights, NJ on Monday, March 9, 2020.
Annamarie was born in Thomas Jefferson Hospital on November 7, 1983. She lived in the Fox Chase section of Philadelphia until her family moved in 1997 to Mystic Island, Little Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. She graduated from Pinelands Regional High School in 2001 and worked in the hospitality industry as a bartender more than ten years at the Borgata Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, NJ. She loved the beach, the ocean, boating and all things related to the Jersey Shore. She was an avid Philly sports fan and enjoyed tailgating and attending games for the Eagles and Phillies.
In 2016, Annamarie welcomed into the world her beautiful, baby girl Lyla who was the light of her life. She was a devoted mother who cherished her daughter and dogs, a loving daughter and sister and a most loyal friend. She was a fun loving free spirit, full of life and laughter. She would always bring a smile to your face and was the light in a room. She was the person you could always lean on and that is why she was loved by so many.
Annamarie is survived by her precious daughter Lyla Emri Renzelli, mother Kathy Macchione (Mellon), brother AJ, two fur babies LL and Cowboy, half-sister/cousin Dr. Cindy McGovern (Chris Stark), many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a countless amount of friends. She was reunited in heaven with her loving father Alex, baby brother Franco, Aunt Til, maternal and paternal grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
