Obituary for Anne P. Liney (Parker)
Anne P. Liney (nee Parker), of Mont Laurel, NJ passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2020, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was 98 years old and had lived a long and blessed life.
Mrs. Liney was born in Philadelphia, PA to Charles and Marie Parker (nee Brady). She had resided in White Marsh, PA and Buffalo, NY before moving to Mount Laurel in 1969. She worked, for many years, as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone, in Philadelphia. Mrs. Liney was a devout Roman Catholic and was a longtime communicant of Our Lady of Good Coundel Church, in Moorestown, NJ. In her leisure time, she enjoyed gardening, walking, and spending time with her neighbors, friends, and family.
Mrs. Liney was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Francis Liney; and her son, John Liney. Surviving are her daughter, Barbara Hague; son, Frank Liney; grandchildren, Kathryn Wiggins, Joseph Hague III, Steven Hague, and Kelly Hague; and great-granddaughter, Anna Wiggins.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20, from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ. Funeral mass will follow, at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 42 W. Main Street, Moorestown, NJ. Interment will follow, at Colestown Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.
