Obituary for Anne C McMonagle
Anne Patricia McMonagle, age 87, died peacefully on Friday, June 7, 2019 at her home in Mt Laurel, NJ. From her birth in Philadelphia, PA, on March 17, 1932 to her death on Friday she nourished people around her with her love, compassion, understanding, and faith. We all knew her as Nancy.
Nancy was the daughter of Patrick and Catherine (Gallagher) McMonagle and was the oldest of five children.
A graduate of John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls’ High School, she was devout and attended services throughout her life. Nancy loved traveling with friends to various stadiums for Notre Dame Football games. Summers were spent enjoying the beach and nightlife in Margate. Nancy retired from the Corrugated Paper Co in Conshohocken, PA after 35 years of service. In retirement Nancy traveled, volunteered as Treasurer of her homeowner’s association, was her mother’s primary caregiver, and spent untold hours caring for her great-nephews.
Left to honor and remember Nancy are her sister; Marie Longo, brother; John (Anne Marie) McMonagle, her niece Renee’ Smith (Longo), 3 nephews; Brian (Michelle) McMonagle, Gary (Nancy) McMonagle, and Darryl (Kristine) Longo. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers Joseph, and Daniel.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, 06/14/2019 at 10:00 AM at St. John Neumann Church, 560 Walton Avenue, Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054. Burial will follow at Jesus Bread of Life Catholic Cemetery in Mt Laurel.
