Anthony Joseph Donadeo, Sr.
Anthony Joseph Donadeo, age 74, long term resident of Mt. Laurel, NJ, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his own home on December 17th, 2020.
Anthony was born in New York, NY, to parents Frank and Anna Donadeo. He moved to his current residence in Mt. Laurel over 46 years ago. Anthony received a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from Manhattan College, Riverdale, NY. He worked as an Electrical Engineer for the Department of the Navy at Naval Ships Systems Engineering Station, Philadelphia, PA, until his retirement in 2006. He was also an Executive Board Member of the Order of the Sons of Italy in America (OSIA) Haddon Heights Lodge #2311. Above all else, Anthony loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and will be deeply missed.
Anthony is predeceased by his parents, Frank and Anna Donadeo. He is survived by his beloved wife, Paula Donadeo (nee Piacentine); children, Anthony Donadeo, Jr. (Jeneen), and Lori Furmanek (John); grandchildren, Gianna and Alyssa Donadeo; sister, Madaline Tarantino (Al); brother-in-law, Albert Piacentine (Dorothy).
A viewing for the immediate family will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020, from 9:00-10:00AM, at Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Rd, Mt. Laurel, NJ, 08054. Family and friends are welcome to attend a Funeral Mass at 10:30AM, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 42 W Main St, Moorestown, NJ 08057. Interment will be at Jesus, Bread of Life Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Anthony’s honor to Our Lady of Good Counsel Church at the above address.
