Obituary for Anthony Jamal "Ant" Palin

Anthony Jamal Palin was born at Beale Air Force Base, California on March 29, 1988, to Carla Ella Jones Palin and Bernard Grant Palin Sr.  He made his transition to be with his heavenly father from his home in Willingboro, New Jersey, on February 2, 2023.

Anthony spent his early years in Pleasantville attending South Main Street School before attending Reeds Road Elementary School in Galloway. He attended middle school at Galloway Township Middle School and graduated from Absegami High School in 2006.

After Anthony graduated from Absegami High School, he degreed in Accounting from Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey.

Anthony started his first job as auditor at the Borgata Casino. Hebegan working at New Jersey Division of Taxation in 2017 and had just gotten a promotion to an Auditor II highlighting an over 10-yearcareer in accounting.

Anthony met the love of his life, Shaun, while attending Rider University during the summer EOP program. The couple wasmarried on November 14, 2017 and were deeply in love.  The couple adopted a rambunctious puppy, Oreo, in 2018.  Anthony and Shaun spent quality time taking Oreo to the park, going to top golf, hitting the gym and going to different festivals throughout New Jersey. Anthony was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and 76ers fan.  Anthony could be found cheering on either team and leading the family chat group conversation on game day analysis.  Anthony was large in stature and character.  Often described as a gentle giant, his positive energy and warm smile made everyone he encountered have a positive experience.  

Anthony is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Harry and Ella Jones and paternal grandfather, James Palin, Sr.  Anthony leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Shaun Davidson Palin; his mother, Carla Palin; his father Bernard Palin Sr; his mother-in-law, Elizabeth Kennedy; his grandmother Willie Palin Blocker (John); his brother, Bernard Jr (Kathy); his sister, Jasmine; his nephew, Mason Palin; his aunts and uncles Wanda (Terry)Rogers, Lynn (Duaane) Carrington, Charlene (Paul) Coppadge, Floretta (Charles) Miller, James Palin, Jr., Brian (Paula) Palin, Harry (Danean) Jones, Jr., Charles Jones, Tonya Palin, and Garnel Palin;his best friends Chris Dennis and Stanley Owens; 19 first cousins, and a host of great aunts, great uncles, extended family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to Ant's viewing on Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 10AM-11AM at the Faith Baptist Church, 829 Tilton Road, Pleasantville, NJ. Funeral service to follow at 11AM. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Pleasantville, NJ.
