Obituary for Audrey Schlegel (Drews)
Audrey Schlegel (nee Drews), age 93, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2022.
Audrey was born on January 15, 1929 to the late August and Mabelle Drews in Floral Park, New York. She grew up in Floral Park, New York before being married and moving to Wilmington. Audrey enjoyed doing arts and crafts and gardening. She was a member of the Mermaid Swimming Club at the YMCA and was an avid animal person who loved her two Siamese Cats. Audrey will be remembered for being a kind and caring mother and grandmother.
She was Predeceased by her husband William Schlegel, and her parents Mabelle and August Drews. She is survived by her son Bruce Schlegel, and two grandchildren Robert and Jennifer.
