Augusta (Gussie) Johnson (nee Peraino), age 83, of Mount Laurel, NJ passed away in the comfort of her own home while surrounded by loving family on Saturday, September 29, 2018.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Philadelphia, PA and raised on the family farm in Mount Laurel. She spent 28 years as a deputy court clerk in Mount Laurel. Her career began as an operator with Bell Telephone in Camden, NJ. Augusta was devoted to her Catholic faith and served as a Eucharistic Minister. She enjoyed farming alongside her husband John, growing vegetables and mums. She was also an excellent cook. But above all else, she cherished time spent with family and friends. She will be deeply missed by those she leaves behind.

Augusta is survived by her beloved spouse of 59 years, John H. Johnson, Jr.; sister, Celestine DiPietro; sister-in-law, Betty Johnson; niece, Cecilia M. Lynn (Robert); nephews, Marcello DiPietro, Jr., Stephen DiPietro; great nieces, Nicolette, Elisa and Samantha; great nephews, Marc and Stephen; great-great nieces, Olivia and Giovanna.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 3rd from 10AM to 11AM immediately followed by mass of the Christian burial, both at Our Lady Queen of Peace RC Church, 1603 Marne Hwy, Hainesport, NJ. Interment will follow at Mount Laurel Cemetery in Mount Laurel.
