Bernadette J. Opperman, resident of Mt Laurel, NJ, passed away at the age of 73.
Bernadette was born in Camden, NJ to the late Francis and Agnes Davis, and resided in
Haddonfield, NJ and Hainesport, NJ before her current residence of over 30 years, Mt. Laurel.
While growing up in Haddonfield, Bernadette attended Christ the King Catholic School and Camden Catholic High School. She was a proud member of the local Drum and Bugle Corps, The Royaleers. Bernadette knew from a young age that she wanted to be a hairdresser and, after going to cosmetology school, she fulfilled her dream and owned her own salon, “Bernadette’s”, in Riverton, NJ for over 20 years.
In her free time, she enjoyed spending time at the beach. But above all else, Bernadette loved
spending time with her family. She was the life of the party, a genuine, selfless and free-spirited woman who gave the best advice. She will be sincerely missed.
Bernadette is predeceased by her ever loving husband, Donald Opperman; son, Brian; and her
brothers, Frank (Roe) and Kevin Davis. She is survived by her children, Tiffany and Jimmy, brother Dennis Davis (Candle); granddaughters, Charlee and LexiAnn; best friend, Lynn; and her beloved rescue dog, Maverick.
Family and friends are welcome to a visitation on Friday, November 12, 2021 from 10:00-
11:00AM at Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Rd, Mt Laurel, NJ 08054. A Memorial
service will immediately follow at 11:00AM.
