Obituary for Carmela T. White
Carmela T. White “Millie”, of Hainesport, formerly of Northeast Philadelphia, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.
Millie was born on April 1, 1929 to the late Lucia and Dominick Mangino in Philadelphia. She was a loving woman that dedicated her life to her family. Millie was strong in her faith and a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church for over 20 years. She loved cooking and entertaining for her family and friends, especially at Christmas and Easter, Millie’s favorites! Millie was a wonderful cook and her specialty was her pizzelles. She will be missed deeply by her loved ones.
Millie is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, John J. White; her children, Diane L. White and John D. White; her sister, Jean Ioele; many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Millie is predeceased by her siblings, Mary Priscopo (Tony), Felix Mangino (Hetty), Amerigo Mangino (Jennie) and Philomena Mattia (Mario).
Relatives and friends are invited to Millie’s viewing on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 10AM – 11AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 1603 Marne Highway, Hainesport, NJ 08036. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11AM. Interment New Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Millie’s name to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church (address listed above).
