I’ve been blessed with knowing Charlie for pretty much my entire career. Words cannot express what a great friend and mentor he’s been to me over the years, and what a pleasure it’s been to keep in touch, albeit far too little, with he and Ginny after his retirement. To say he was larger than life falls far short of describing the force of personality that was Charlie’s; his infectious grin, raucous laughter, quit wit, and earthy wisdom combined in a formidable blend style and character.

Loyal friend, astute businessman, and raconteur par excellence…he will be sorely missed.

All our thoughts and prayers to Ginny, Deborah, and Charlie’s friends and family.

My condolences to Charlie’s wife and family. I worked at Cigna in the Legal Department for the real estate attorneys, Mike Gilmore and Joe Story. We supported Charlie and the real estate department in their work. Charlie was so great to work with and he would come down to where we were on the floor and always made us laugh with his stories. He spoke so fondly of his “Ginnie” and all of his family. May he now enjoy his eternal rewards in heaven. He, Phil D’Oria, Brent Gennovese and my old boss Joe Story are having a Cigna corporate real estate reunion. God bless you all and prayers during this time.
