Charles Eisele Hughes, age 94, passed away on March 16, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.

Charles was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA to the late Robert J. and Elsie Hughes. He has been a resident of Lumberton, NJ since 1975. He enjoyed restoring furniture and worked behind the scenes at a local antique shop where he restored just about anything. Charles was a devoted patriot and loved his country immensely. He was a Mason and was loved by all who know him and will be dearly missed.

Charles was predeceased by his loving wife, G. Elaine Hughes in 2012. He is survived by his children, Charles E. Hughes, Jr. (Joyce), Peggy Hughes, Diane Bulifant (Paul), Barbara Hughes (Michael Mooney) and John C. Hughes (Laura); his grandchildren, Jen, Paul, Patrick, Charlotte, Maureen, Madelynn, Stephanie, Michael, Steven. Corey, Brandon and Olivia; his great grandchildren, Jeremy, Justin, Clara, Hugh, Jack, Everly and Skylar.

Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Saturday March 20, 2021 from 10-11am immediately followed by his funeral service at 11am both at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals 212 Ark Road Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Interment will follow at Colestown Cemetry in Cherry Hill, NJ.
