Obituary for Troy Hopper
Clifton “Troy” Hopper, 62 of Mount Laurel, passed away peacefully in the early hours of September 30, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.
Troy was born on May 8, 1960 in Columbia, Missouri to the late Karen and Clifton Earl Hopper. He devoted his life to his family, whether it be watching or coaching his daughters in their sporting events, or traveling and exploring the world with his wife. To say that Troy loved golf would be an understatement. He served on the board as Vice President of Laurel Creek Country Club. Troy was the commissioner of his fantasy football league and appreciated going over his fantasy picks with his wife. He was employed as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Sentinel Medical Technologies most recently, but had a long and successful career in medical sales with Johnson and Johnson, Allergan, and Ethicon, among others. A perfect day for Troy would be fishing and feeding the ponies with his daughters. He will be missed deeply by his loved ones.
Troy is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 35 years, Barbara (nee Baron); his children, Ashley Johnson and her husband Kyle, and Alexis Hopper; one brother, Whitney Earl Hopper and his wife Pamela; one grandchild on the way; Also survived by in-laws, many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, colleagues and a dedicated, loyal, and generous friend of over 30 years, Tim McKinney.
Relatives and friends are invited to Troy’s visitation on Friday, October 7, 2022 from 11:30AM – 1:30PM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Memorial service to follow at 1:30PM. Interment private at the request of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you hold your loved ones extra tight, commit to your preventative care screenings, and remember him fondly.
