Obituary for David Alan Muchnick
David Alan Muchnick, age 64, passed away on November 30, 2021.
David was predeceased by his parents, Eugene and Francine Muchnick. He is survived by his companion Barbara Hallion, his brother, Edward L Muchnick (Debra) and his sister, Connie Nute (Tom). Uncle to Jessicah Ferroni (Kevin), Andrea Wilson (Charles), Sara Muchnick (Levi Brandriss), Lucas Treanor, and Zachary Muchnick. Great Uncle to Abigail, Sam, Atalie, Sloane, Cohen, and Evan.
He will be missed and remembered by his many longtime friends, some of which include Jay, Doug, Bill, Frank, Mick, and so many others.
David was a friend to many with a heart of gold. If his time or help was needed, he was always available. He was quick to lend a helping hand to those in his Watergate community, by driving those to an appointment or help with technical issues.
A dog lover by nature (Rufus was his favorite), he was always eager to walk a neighbor’s dog and care for them while the owners were away, and they loved him in return. David enjoyed spending time outdoors, camping, hiking, biking, and time at the Jersey shore. A health fanatic, he never met a pint he didn’t like, be it Ben and Jerrys or gin.
He enjoyed many winters with his parents and family in Florida, including cousins Elyse, Bruce, Alan, and Daniel, and never missed a Sunday Brunch at his Uncle Sandy’s lakeside home.
David truly marched to the beat of a different drummer. He lived life on his own terms regardless of what others thought. Thanks for reminding us how to follow our own music.
Family has requested that the services and interment are to be private.
