Obituary for Deanna Chamberlain (Smith)
Deanna Chamberlain (nee Smith), age 59, passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 24, 2021.
Deanna was born in Norfolk, VA to the late Nile and Joan Smith, and had resided in Mount Laurel, NJ and Southampton, NJ, before her current residence of five years, Lumberton, NJ. Deanna was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and caretaker. In her free time, she enjoyed listening to music, going to concerts, and spending time with her family, especially during their “Family Movie Nights.”
Deanna was the kindest soul one could ever hope to meet, forever putting others before herself. Her generosity, positivity, and love for life and family will truly be missed. Those who were lucky enough to know Deanna know she was a rare treasure that can never be replaced.
Deanna is predeceased by her husband, Jeffrey Chamberlain. She is survived by her children, Daniel and Kyle Chamberlain; siblings, Nila Kirwin, Patty Guner, and David Smith; granddaughter, Harper; and her beloved dog, Piper.
Family and friends are invited to her visitation on Thursday, July 29, from 9:00-10:30AM, at Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Rd, Mt Laurel, NJ 08054. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00AM, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 1603 Marne Hwy, Hainesport, NJ 08036. Interment will be private.
