Obituary for Diane Sherry Vesci (Brown)
Diane S. Vesci, age 61, passed away peacefully in her Mt. Laurel home on Thursday, September 9, 2021.
Diane was born in Belleville, NJ and has resided in Tabernacle, NJ before her current residence of 18 years, Mt. Laurel, NJ. Diane was a wonderful nurse at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly, NJ for many years. She was also extremely warmhearted to animals as well, and made connections to many in her lifetime—she even had a beloved goose, Mr. Henry, who would sit in her lap when she was younger. In her free time, Diane enjoyed gardening, flowers, and spending time with her family and friends. She will be sincerely missed by many.
Diane is predeceased by her father, David J. Brown, Sr., and brother, David Brown, Jr. She is survived by her beloved husband, Richard Vesci; mother, Sherry Johnson; daughter, Amanda Gratz (Christopher); step-sons, Richard Vesci and Michael Vesci (Danielle); sister, Dana Manco; and granddaughter, Isabella Gratz.
Family and friends are welcome to her viewing on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 8:00-10:00AM, followed immediately by a service celebrating Diane’s life. Both will be held at Mt. Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Rd, Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054. Interment will follow at Park View Cemetery at Kirby’s Mill in Medford, NJ.
Due to concern for public safety, masks must be worn and the family requests that guests follow social distancing protocols.
The family would also like to sincerely thank all of Diane’s coworkers at Virtua Memorial Hospital, whom have supported them and made them feel like family throughout these difficult times.
