Obituary for Donald Anthony D'Amato

Donald Anthony D’Amato, “Don” 84 of Medford, New Jersey died on Friday October 28, 2022 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey.

Donald was born in Riverside, NJ and lived in Mount Laurel, NJ for many years before moving to Medford four years ago. He honorably served his country in the United States Navy, and was a longtime communicant of Saint John Neumann RC Church in Mount Laurel and for the last 4 years a member of Saint Mary of the Lakes in Medford. Don had a long and successful career as a Licensed Real Estate Broker and Appraiser in Burlington County spanning many decades.

He is survived by his five children, Michael D’Amato, Debra D’Amato, John D’Amato (Beate), Dennis D’Amato (Robert) and Allison D’Amato; companion, with whom he lived, Alice M. Dawson; five grandchildren, Cory & Alex Makinin, Katarina, Sean and Talia D’Amato; as well as step-grandchildren, Mark & Janet Pagano.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Friday, November 4, 2022 from 10:00AM to 11:30AM followed by the 11:30AM Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Saint Mary of the Lakes RC Church, 40 Jackson Road, Medford, NJ 08055. Don’s final resting place will be at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown NJ.
