Obituary for Donald James Lenc

Donald “Don” James Lenc, of Voorhees, New Jersey, passed away on October 23, 2020. He was 53 years old.

Don was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, before moving to his current residence of Voorhees over 20 years ago. He was the Director of Operations at the McLane Company for 25 years. In his free time, Don loved to play golf with his close friends, and certainly wouldn’t turn down a chance at a Top Dollar slot machine in Atlantic City. He was the kindest, most giving, humorous, likeable, loveable, and humble man. He worked hard and played harder. His nephew said, “Uncle Don lived and enjoyed life more in his 53 years than most people do in 100.” To those he worked with – he was a mentor, a leader, a confidant, a friend, and always an example of incredible work ethic. Don was a wonderful man who left a positive impact on everyone he met and will be missed by many.

Don is survived by his siblings, Kelly Jaspersen, Christine Sava (Tony), and Joseph Lenc; his nephews, Mark Jaspersen (Kaitlynn) and Anthony Sava, his niece, Sarah Stachler (Jon); and his other friends and coworkers who consider him family.

New Jersey friends and family are invited to a visitation on Saturday, November 14th, 2020, from 2:00-3:00PM, followed immediately by a service. Both will be held at Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054.

Ohio friends and family will be invited to a memorial service for Don at an undecided future date. Please check back for updates.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Don’s honor to The Children’s Miracle Network at the following address: https://childrensmiraclenetworkhospitals.org/donate/
