Obituary for Donald Paul Mehall

Donald “Paul” Mehall, age 73 of Hainesport, passed away on September 1, 2022.

Paul was born in South Fork, PA to the late Margaret and Nicholas Mehall on October 24, 1948. He served our country in the U.S. Army for 40 years and was a proud Vietnam Vet. Paul had many titles during his service in the military including CW4, however, his most important in life, was being called Pap-Pap. He devoted his life to his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed his Dunkin’ Donut dates with Carter and drawing with his Lilly bug. Paul loved all sports but was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan and will take his Terrible Towel with him to the afterlife. He never met a gallon of Turkey Hill ice-cream he couldn’t finish or a lottery ticket he didn’t scratch. Paul enjoyed relaxing by watching TV, particularly Gunsmoke, The First 48, Mountain Monsters with his grandson and NASCAR races. Some of his other loves were his daughter Melissa’s cooking, classic cars and breaking things just to fix them. He will be missed by all who met him.

Paul is survived by his devoted family which includes Margaret Mehall (nee Scarpone); his daughters, Melissa Hall (Joseph) and Theresa Mehall; grandchildren, Carter and Lillian Hall; loving siblings, Diane, Donna and Dennis along with many in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his sisters, Gail and Joan.

Relatives and friends are invited to Paul’s viewing on Friday, September 16, 2022 from 9AM to 10:30AM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054.
