Obituary for Dorothy Anne Pollack (Short)

Dorothy Anne “Anne” Pollack (nee Short), of Mount Laurel, New Jersey, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2019, on her 90th birthday.

Anne was born in Canton, Ohio. She had previously resided in Medfield, Massachusetts and Cherry Hill, New Jersey, before moving to Mount Laurel in 1993. She was a devout Christian and had been a member of the Collingswood Church of Christ since 1980. Anne was a passionate and talented musician and taught piano for many years. She always had a smile and her legacy is one of joy and compassion.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clellan Z. McFadden in 1990, and her second husband, David Pollack, in 2011. Surviving are her children, Timothy Z. McFadden (Sally), Lori A. Heintz, and Lisa L. Schemeley (Tom); grandchildren, Corrie Anne, Caleb, Colin, Jordan, Amy, Melanie, and Alyssa; and great-grandchildren, Olivia, Jonah, Lukas, Lillian Gray, and Jack.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 29, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 noon, both at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel. Interment will follow at Colestown Cemetery, Cherry Hill. In lieu of flowers we ask for donations to the Arthritis National Research Foundation @curearthritis , or locally in New Jersey to the hospice that gave her such wonderful end of life care the past couple of days..
