Obituary for Dorothy E Wyville
Dorothy E. Wyville, age 92, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 18th, 2021.
Dorothy was born in Jersey City, NJ to the late Patrick and Helen Mele. She resided in Marlton, NJ before moving to her current residence, Allegria at the Fountains, in Atco, NJ. Dorothy was a parishioner at Saint Joan of Arc Church, Marlton, NJ, and devoted to her faith. Dorothy enjoyed a 30-year career in the banking industry. Prior to her retirement, Dorothy was Branch Manager for Hudson United Bank, formerly Inter-Boro Savings and Loan, in Cherry Hill, NJ.
In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling and participated in many Leagues. Dorothy enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and word search puzzles to keep her mind sharp. She also was an avid reader and loved to shop. Dorothy was a people person and easily made friends wherever she went. She had a great sense of humor and if you made her laugh, all the better! Above all else, Dorothy cherished the time she spent with family and friends. She will be dearly missed.
Dorothy is survived by her children, John Wyville (Mary Jo), Randall Wyville (Helga), and Maryellen Wyville Altieri (Edmund); grandchildren, Chelsea Wyville, Courtney Wyville, and Nicholas Altieri; sister-in-law, Eleanor, and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Friday, June 25, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 1603 Marne Highway, Hainesport. Inurnment will follow at Jesus, Bread of Life Cemetery, Mount Laurel.
The family requests that ANYONE ATTENDING THE SERVICES PLEASE WEAR A MASK IF THEY HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE COVID-19 VACCINE.
