Edna, my sister-in-law. I walked into Edna's life when I married her brother, Bert, six years ago. He has been with the Lord for two years. Very quickly Edna and I became best friends. I loved Edna, her wit, her personality, her jelly, her willingness to help others, and she helped me many times. Edna came to our parties - Bert's 85 birthday and our 4th of July picnics on our back porch. We talked on the phone every day until she had to go to Brookdale. Mim and I would visit Edna every week. She is now reunited with all her sisters and brothers in heaven. My memory of Edna will always be of sitting in church with Mim and Edna, her hair fixed beautifully, her wearing a pretty dress, her singing loudly, going to Friendly's for dinner afterwards, where Edna would enjoy the blackberry happy-ending sundae. With Love and Fond Memories, Joan Newell
