Obituary for Elizabeth R Anastasia
Elizabeth R. Anastasia, age 62, of Mt. Laurel, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 11, 2021.
Beth was born in Norristown, PA, to the late Charles and Phyllis (Bright) Rogers and resided in Mt. Laurel. She was a senior project manager for Jefferson University in Philadelphia for many years. A gifted soprano, she sang with the Savoy Company of Philadelphia and in church choirs. She served at the local, regional, and national levels of the United Church of Christ. Beth enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, cheering the Phillies, and spending time at the beach.
Beth is survived by her beloved husband of 21 years, Bob; her sister, Janice Rodriguez; her siblings-in-law, Jesus Rodriguez, Tom and Jean Anastasia, and Tom and Janet Hardy; and her loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 25, at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 2618 New Albany Rd., Cinnaminson, NJ. Masks are required.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Beth’s memory be made to the Friends of Cape May National Wildlife Refuge. Interment will be private.
