Obituary for Elmer William Keys Jr.

Elmer W. Keys, Jr., (Bill) age 89, of Moorestown, formerly of Mount Laurel passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family.

Bill was born on June 15, 1934 to the late Beatrice and Elmer Keys in Baltimore, MD. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Air Force from 1953 to 1973 after retiring as Master Sargeant. Bill worked for the US Post Office and the Naval Supply Depot, before retiring.  He loved building model airplanes and enjoyed going to the air shows. Bill loved playing video games, the History channel, military magazines and was very tech savvy.  He also truly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and all the family pets!  He will be deeply missed by his loved ones.

Elmer is predeceased by his wife, Florence (nee Griffen) and his grandson, Justin Cowen. He is survived by his loving daughters, Melanie Fleming (Dan), Melissa Keys, and Shirley McGarvey (Pat); his grandchildren, Caelan McCullough, Cory McCullough, Liam McGarvey, Hayden McGarvey and Kiera McGarvey.

Private services will be held, as requested by Bill on Sunday, 1/21/2024.
