Obituary for Gaetana Sparacio (Pannizzo)
Gaetana Sparacio (nee Pannizzo), age 92, of Mount Laurel, NJ passed away while surrounded by loving family on Friday, January 1, 2021.
Mrs. Sparacio was born on June 10, 1928 in Carini, Italy to Cristofaro Pannizzo and Rosa Passalacqua. Gaetana had resided in Brooklyn, NY for 33 years before moving to Mount Laurel in 2000. She was devoted to her Catholic faith and her family. She will be deeply missed by those she leaves behind.
Gaetana was predeceased by her beloved spouse, Giuseppe Sparacio, in 2014 and her daughter, Giuseppina Gatto, in 2010. She is survived by her children, Margherita SanPaolo, Cristofaro Sparacio, Rosa Maria Mannino; one sister, Rosa Pannizzo; 12 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, January 9th from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ. Mass of the Christian burial will be celebrated 11:30 AM also on Saturday, January 9th at Saint John Neumann RC Church, 560 Walton Ave, Mount Laurel, NJ. Entombment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson, NJ.
