Obituary for George L Negron
George L. Negron, age 67, passed away peacefully in his Mount Laurel, NJ home on January 11, 2021.
George was born in Puerto Rico, and raised in Philadelphia, PA. He has also resided in Shamong, NJ before his current residence in Mount Laurel. George bravely served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed mechanics and worked as an engineer for the Lakehurst Military Base for over 32 years. In his free time, George loved to restore cars, and enjoy well-cooked steaks. But above all, he loved spending time with his family.
George is predeceased by his sister Iris and his brother Wilferdo. He is survived by his beloved wife, Judy Negron (nee Venziale); children, George, Jr., Tina, Angela, Ginney, and Dawn; siblings, Rosa Ramos, Maria Noack, Lydia Torres, Aide Munoz, Benny Negron, Jose Negron, and Miguel Negron; his adopted grandchildren who he raised, Caroline Negron and Nicholas Negron. Also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
Friends and family are welcome to George’s viewing on Saturday, January 16th, 2021, from 8:30-10:30AM at Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00AM at Saint John Neumann Church, 560 Walton Ave, Mt Laurel, NJ 08054. Interment will be at Cavalry Cemetery in Cherry Hill, NJ.
