Obituary for Geraldine Brown Wszolek

Geraldine Brown Wszolek, 84, of Hainesport, New Jersey, passed away on January 1, 2024.

Born in Trenton, New Jersey, Geraldine was a resident of Hamilton Square until 1998, when she moved to Hainesport, New Jersey.  Prior to retiring, Gerrie was an office manager for 32 years at Mercer Medical Associates.  She was a devout Catholic and member of St. Gregory the Great RC Church in Hamilton Square and more recently, Our Lady Queen of Peace RC Church in Hainesport.  Gerrie enjoyed following the United States Figure Skating Association, Drum Corps International, and was an active member of the Trenton High School Class of 1957 Reunion Committee.  She was a sports fan, and especially enjoyed attending the sporting events and activities of her grandchildren.

Beloved wife of 56 years to the late Bernard J. Wszolek; loving mother of Stacy Wszolek Kalokitis (David) and Kathleen Wszolek Innocenzi (Scott), with whom she resided; devoted grandmother of Mark Kalokitis (Olivia), Matthew Kalokitis, Megan Innocenzi, Brian Innocenzi (Aimee), Kevin Innocenzi (fiancé Juliette) and her great granddaughters Blake and Sydney.  Gerrie is survived by loving nieces, especially Eileen King and Janice Delaney, and several nephews and cousins, and her sister-in-law Emilia Wszolek Theer Slimm. Gerrie is also survived by several long-time devoted friends and her figure skating fan group.


She was predeceased by her parents, Harry J. and Marie (nee McDonough) Brown and her siblings, Patricia Brown Delaney (John), Harry "Bud" Brown and Richard D. Brown and sister-in-law, Dorothy Wszolek Leaver (Ronald). 

Relatives and friends are invited to Gerrie’s visitation on Saturday, January 6, 2024, 9:00 - 11:00 AM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, New Jersey 08054 where her Memorial Ceremony will follow at 11:00 AM.
