Obituary for Gertrude T. Collins
Gertrude T. Collins (nee Kerrigan), of Mt. Laurel, NJ passed away while surrounded by loving family on Thursday, April 22, 2021.
Mrs. Collins was born in Philadelphia, PA and raised her family in North East Philadelphia before moving to Mount Laurel, NJ. Gertrude was happiest while living in Holiday Village. She enjoyed all the various activities and especially loved bingo and the crochet club. But above all, she was the matriarch of a very large family. She will be deeply missed by those she leaves behind.
Gertrude was predeceased by her spouse, James T. Collins, and her son, James Collins. She is survived by her children, Trudy Tomkowicz, Maureen Collins, Rosanne Gentile (John), Susan Hannings (Bob), Joan Hurst (Ron), Thomas Collins (Ivonne), William Collins (Fran), Eileen Mangan (Mike); grandchildren, Brian, Tracie, Christopher, David, Bobby, Michael, Daniel, Brittany, Jimmy, Nick, Kim, Chal, Olivia, Brielle; great-grandchildren, Braden, Kait, Alana, Sienna, Brody, John, Henry, Grace, C.J., James, Luke, Mara, Michael, Maeve, Kira, Lila, Ryker, Chal.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 27th from 10:00 to 11:00 AM immediately followed by mass of Christian burial, both at Our Lady Queen of Peace RC Church, 1603 Marne Highway, Hainesport, NJ 08036. Final disposition will be private.
