Gloria Pozzuolo (nee Serrao), 98, of Mount Laurel, New Jersey passed away on January 20, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Gloria was born on March 27, 1925 to the late Gregory and Laura (nee Tavaglione) Serrao, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Gloria was a woman of many talents and in her younger years, was a window decorator for Wanamakers and also worked part time for Jefferson Hospital. A strong willed and loving woman, Gloria was dedicated to her family...especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Gloria was outspoken and had her own way of doing things. You would often hear from her husband, Samuel, and even other family members and friends, "That's Gloria." She was very artistic, loved to paint and was very lucky at games of chance. She often came home rewarded on her trips to the casinos and games of bingo.
Beloved wife of 48 years to Samuel Pozzuolo; devoted mother of Laura Mehaffey, Sandra Potero, Samuel (Lisa) Pozzuolo, Denise (David) Alsip and Gloria (David) Schumacher; cherished grandmother of Samuel, Matthew, Cristina, Edward, Kurtis, Chelsea, Peter, Andrea and the late, John and Michael; loving great grandmother of Nicholas, Kohen, Carter, Gracie, Kaya, Kardan and the late, Timothy; dear sister of Lawrence Serrao.
Relatives and friends are invited to Gloria's viewing on Saturday, January 27, 2024, 8:30 - 10:30 AM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054, where the Funeral Ceremony will follow at 10:30 AM. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin, NJ.
