Obituary for Helen M Yeager (Cummins)
Helen M. Yeager, age 89, of Mount Laurel, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 29, 2022.
Helen was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Richard and Helen Cummins, and was raised in Gibbsboro, NJ, and Cherry Hill, NJ before moving to her residence of over 65 years, Mount Laurel, NJ. In 1981, Helen and her late daughter, Judith Yeager, started their own business: J&H Tax Service. Helen worked as the Office Manager for their business for over 37 years. She was a member of the Our Lady Queen of Peace Church parish in Hainesport, NJ for many years, as well as being a member of The Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary. In her free time, Helen enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time with her family.
Helen is predeceased by her daughter, Judith Yeager, and her siblings, Ruth Fletcher and Richard Cummins. She is survived by her husband, Gerald Yeager; children, Gerald Yeager, Jr., Carolyn Mostak (Ed), and Cheryl Szuchy (Chris); grandchildren, Bryanna Mostak, Paul Mostak, Jaclyn Szuchy, and Christine Szuchy; and her many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are welcome to her viewing on Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 6:00-8:00PM, at Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Rd, Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 11:00AM, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 1603 Marne Hwy, Hainesport, NJ 08036. Interment will follow at Jesus, Bread of Life Cemetery in Mt. Laurel, NJ.
