Obituary for Howard Henry Schwarz
Howard passed away on September 8, 2022, at 87 years young.
He was born in Newark, NJ to the late Henry and Gretchen Schwarz and was also predeceased by his stepfather, Frank Simonitsch.
After growing up in Union, NJ, he lived in upstate New York before moving back to New Jersey where he became a resident of Moorestown for over 40 years. Howard enjoyed fishing, kayaking, biking, gardening, and especially metal crafting and woodworking in his workshop. Throughout his life he was creating something, fixing something, or making something better. He enjoyed yearly trips to Hilton Head and Florida, and relished time spent with his family.
In his earlier years, Howard was a graduate of Union High School and Newark College of Engineering. As a young man he served two years in the Army before starting his career in Tool and Dye making. He went on to become a draftsman, and eventually VP of Manufacturing in the Extrusion Blow Molding industry.
Howard is survived by the love of his life, Eva (Nee Pratt) of 63 years, his two daughters, Stephanie Morrison (Randall) and Heide Kazmierski (Mark), his grandchildren, James, Kelsi, Cooper and Rylee Morrison, Bria and Ethan Kazmierski, Erin Furno (John), Mark Jr (Tatyan), Clay and Michael Kazmierski, and several great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to attend his memorial gathering on Sunday September 18, 2022 from 1-3pm at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals 212 Ark Road Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Should friends and family desire, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of their choice.
