Obituary for In Soon Russell
Insoon Russell, age 84, loving and devoted Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, and Sister passed away peacefully at her home on September 3, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.
Insoon was born in South Korea on July 7, 1938. She married Carl Russell, a soldier of the United States Army. After their first daughter Judy was born, they moved to the United States and settled in Pennsauken, NJ. Insoon worked as a homemaker until the death of her husband Carl in 1971. She then took on many jobs to support her family and eventually owned and operated several small businesses.
She is survived by her daughters, Judy(Robert), Carolyn(Miguel), and Lynn(Jose); her brother, Gyu Taeg Lee; grandchildren, Robert(Yaribel), Christopher(Lisa), Erica, Miguel, Anthony, Matthew, Aaron, Andrew, Melissa, and Joselyn; 7 great-grandchildren and twins on the way.
Family and friends are invited to attend Insoon’s viewing on Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 10AM-11AM followed by her memorial service at 11AM, both at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Interment Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ. Repast to follow at Joshua Presbyterian Church, 1326 Monmouth Road, Eastampton, NJ 08060.
