Obituary for Jack Ralph Albertson

Jack R. Albertson, 71, of Riverton, NJ, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his father, John G. Albertson; mother, Rena Lacey Albertson; and little brother Donald Albertson.

Loving father of Libbey Haymond of Millsboro, DE; Jackie Kemper (Scott) of York, PA; Tracy Thomas (Tojy) of Colorado Springs, CO and grandfather of Christopher Haymond, Alyssa Brown, Jeremiah Haymond, Soraya Thomas, Caleb Thomas, Zachary Thomas and Anabelle Kemper. Great-grandfather of Grace, Gabby, Gianna, Bryan, Liam and Morgan. Loving uncle of Diana Saunders (Warren), Megan Cannon (Kevin), Kristin Titus, and Beth Albertson.

Jack served in the Navy during the Vietnam era. He spent over 30 years in real estate at Koury & Clement, later Stockwell-Knight, in Mt. Holly, NJ. He also specialized in executive legal education in his hobby and pursuit of learning the law. Jack was a proud member of Grace Bible Church for over 30 years and worked tirelessly on their building campaign and missions committees. The Grace community, led by Pastor Justin VanReed, served Jack selflessly and demonstrated the love of Christ in these final years through endless acts of service. The family recognizes all you did for him and thanks you deeply.

In his spare time he loved to pursue reading and was an avid book collector. Jack and his brother Don enjoyed weekends scouting book sales and watching the Eagles. Jack will be missed by his best friend, Joseph "Joey" Calloway and Joseph's lovely wife, Lynnie, of Willingboro, NJ. These dear friends of Jack demonstrated their unconditional love and unwavering loyalty to him through their friendship and constant presence in his life for the past 58 years.

Family and Friends are invited to attend his visitation on Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 10-11am immediately followed by his Memorial Service both at Grace Bible Church 822 S. Church Street Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Int. Private. In lieu of flowers, donations to Samaritans Hospice@Voorhees are appreciated due to the exceptional care and love our family has received in this loss, and also with the loss of his brother and father.
