Janice E. Thomas of Mount Laurel, NJ died peacefully on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, while surrounded by her loving family.

Janice was born in Camden, NJ to the late Martin and Ellen McDonald. She worked for Bell Telephone and Deluxe Check Printers and was a wonderful homemaker. In her free time, she loved to watch Jeopardy! travel, and listen to all types of music including Motown, country, opera, and soft rock. Janice was also an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan—She and her late husband, Dan, previously got season tickets to the Eagles every year. She also had a love for dogs. Janice’s children would joke that her late Bichon, Rags, was the favorite child of the family. Janice was wonderful, kind, had a great sense of humor and a joy to be around. She is very loved and will be deeply missed.

Janice is predeceased by her beloved husband, Daniel Thomas, and her son Baby Thomas. She is survived by her children, Heidi (Paul), Dan (Dianne), and Tracey (Tom); brother Martin McDonald (the late, Nancy); grandchildren, Joel, Jesse, Mark, Cortney, Jacob, Madison, and the late Morgan Janice; great grandchildren, Daniel Angelo, Brody Jonathan, Gavin Joseph, Audrey Doris, Gibson James, Ryleigh Ann, Carter Robert, Zachary Russell, Cash Carson, and one more great-grandchild on the way. She is survived by loving nieces and nephews and her friend of 50 years, Elaine Piccone.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend her visitation on Monday, April 15, 2024 from 1:00-3:00PM, and to her funeral service immediately following at 3:00PM. Both will be held at Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054.
