Jean Dunlop, age 80, of Mount Laurel, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 19, 2023.

Jean was born on September 12, 1942 in Camden, NJ to the late Ruth and Harvey Councillor.  She resided in Pennsauken before moving to Mount Laurel 25 years ago.  Jean loved being around family and friends and eating her favorite food Maryland crabs. She was always one to make you feel welcome in her house. She was an animal lover and her favorite was dogs. Her most memorable vacation place was the Poconos but also enjoyed the Jersey shore. She was known as “Sugie” to her friends and family and will be missed deeply by her loved ones. 

Jean is predeceased by her siblings Alice and Harvey. She is survived by her loving husband, William “Alex” Dunlop; her sons, Alex Dunlop wife Janine and David Dunlop; sister Betty (Sis); 12 cherished nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are welcome to her visitation on Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 10AM-12PM at Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Rd, Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054. Her memorial service will follow at 12PM.
