Obituary for Jeffrey R. Williams

Jeffrey R. Williams, age 61, of Mt. Laurel, passed away on February 17, 2022.

Jeff was born on June 14, 1960 to Marilyn and Raymond Williams in Lima, Ohio. Jeff was a lifelong resident of Mt. Laurel and worked as a financial and data analyst. Jeff was a wonderful husband, father, brother, and friend. Jeff’s interests included muscle cars, golf, and cooking. He loved spending time by the pool with his family and his dogs, Chopper and Harley. Jeff was a Renaissance man/jack of all trades, and he took pride in household projects and remodeling his home. Jeff was a humble man who always had a positive outlook on life. He loved helping others, and he enjoyed cooking meals for his friends and family. Jeff was a very involved father who enjoyed coaching every team, attending every cheerleading and dance recital, and being his children’s number one fan. He was a loving and devoted husband, and he enjoyed every moment with the love of his life, Tonia. Jeff truly lived life to its fullest.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Tonia Williams (West), his children Nolan Williams and Madison Williams, his future daughter-in-law Amanda Mooney, his mother Marilyn Williams (Hemmert), his sisters MaryBeth Williams and Michelle Hall (Williams), and his nephews Peyton Hall and Hayden Hall. Jeff is predeceased by his father Raymond Williams, his brother Sean Williams, and his brother-in-law Daryl Hall.

Relatives and friends are invited to Jeff's viewing on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 from 3:00PM to 5:00PM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. The service will follow at 5:00PM. Interment private at the request of the family.

Jeff was a warrior against cancer who defied all odds and fought a long and courageous battle with a rare form of bladder cancer. Jeff did not allow himself to be defined by his diagnosis, and his love for life never wavered. Jeff’s family is thankful for the endless support they received during this difficult journey. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jeff’s memory may be made to the American Bladder Cancer Society.
