Jene Rose D’Augelli, age 85, of Mount Laurel, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, December 11th, 2020.

Rose was born and raised in Massillon, Ohio, to parents, John and Anna Meyer and was the youngest of six sisters. Although her parents were hardworking immigrants from Romania, life in the Meyer household was filled with love, laughter and religion. Rose eventually left her family and became a stewardess for Eastern Airlines where she developed a love for travel. Rose then settled down and raised her two children with John T. D’Augelli in Glen Head, NY. Rose eventually retired to Mount Laurel, NJ where she enjoyed reading, writing poetry and spending time with family and friends.

Left to cherish Rose’s memory are her two children: Mark D’Augelli, Sr., (Annette) and Susan Powell (Alan); and her grandchildren, John Michael D’Augelli, Mark D’Augelli, Jr., David D’Augelli, Kevin Powell, Sarah Powell, and Benjamin Powell. Rose is also survived by her many beloved nephews and nieces. Rose’s family and friends will miss her dearly.
