Obituary for Jessica Joan Stek
Jessica Joan Stek (nee Berdel), age 75, of Avenel, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 15, 2019.
Jessie was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA and had resided in Medford, NJ and the last twenty years in Avenel NJ. In her leisure, she enjoyed flowers, spending time at the beach and taking trips to Atlantic City. But above all else, she cherished the time spent with her family, especially with her grandchildren, and will be deeply missed by those she leaves behind.
Jessica is survived by her children, Susan Short (Wayne), Kenneth Volz (Jennifer), Michael Volz (Gerri); grandchildren, Shelby Short, Alex Park, Stephen Volz, Loren Volz, Megan Volz; sister, Edith Trasatti; brother, Thomas Berdel.
A viewing will be held on Friday, September 20th from 10:00 to 11:30 AM, immediately followed by a funeral service, both at the chapel in Jesus, Bread of Life Cemetery, 3055 Fostertown Road, Mount Laurel, NJ.
