Obituary for John L. Hargreaves
John Hargreaves, age 73, of Mount Laurel, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on October 24, 2020.
John Hargreaves traveled extensively, living in Japan, Scotland, and of course, New Jersey. It was in New Jersey that he met and married his beloved wife, Faith, and raised his daughter Laura. John graduated Rider University and worked for 25 years for the New Jersey Department of Labor as a Senior Analyst.
John served his country honorably in the Vietnam War, and was a proud member of MENSA. Very proud. John loved movies,dogs, and his Sunday morning ritual of going to Barnes and Noble with his family. His favorite movie was Love Actually, though he would have told you it was North by Northwest.
He is survived by his sister Merry Ellen Kauffeld, brother-in-law John Kauffeld, nephew John Logan Kauffeld, and the many friends he and Faith shared. A celebration of life will be held next year when it is safe to do so.
