Send Flowers John Jacobsen June 14, 2015 John E. Jacobsen John Edwin, 79, of Mount Laurel, NJ passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Samaritan Inpatient Hospice Center, Mount Holly, NJ. Mr. Jacobsen was born and raised in Staten Island, NY before moving to Mount Laurel 20 years ago. He honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. John worked as an electrical engineer for Con Edison for 35 years, retiring in 1993. He was preceded in death by his sister, Elaine Smith and her husband, James. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Margaret (nee Esposito); two sons, John (Kathleen) and Mark; granddaughters, Erica Louise and Jessica Jacobsen; as well as his sister, Carolyn Lagomarsini (Richard). Family and friends are welcome to attend a memorial service 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 20th at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Final disposition will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of John may be made to Samaritan Healthcare and Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
