Obituary for John Joseph Reynolds
John J. Reynolds, age 78, passed away on August 12, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Camden, NJ to the late Stanley and Eleanor Reynolds (Nee McCartney). He was a former resident of Pennsauken, NJ before moving to Mount Laurel, NJ over 15 years ago. He was a silk screener and glass cutter for Hordis Brothers for over 20 years. He excavated for Valley Trenching for a few years before owning his own business, Fort Dix Army and Navy store in the Pennsauken Mart. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed cooking, gardening, playing pool with his friends, washing his car and shopping for a new car, but most of all, he cherished the time he spent with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Emma Reynolds (nee Paroonagian); his children, Patricia Ratti (Anthony) and John J Reynolds, II (Melissa); his grandchildren, Ashley Ratti, Anthony Ratti, Madeline Reynolds and Nicholas Reynolds and his siblings, Peg Brogan and William Reynolds (Catherine).
Services and interment are private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Saint John Neumann Church 560 Walton Ave, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054.
