Obituary for Jorge Luis Collazo-Luna Sr.

Jorge Luis Collazo-Luna, age 89, of Burlington, NJ passed away while surrounded by loving family on Tuesday, March 5, 2019.

Mr. Collazo-Luna was born and raised in Barranquita, Puerto Rico, and lived most of his life in Cayey, Puerto Rico, before moving to Burlington. He served his country honorably during the Korean and Vietnam wars within the US Army, over the course of 20 years. Jorge enjoyed boxing and wrestling, and he loved playing pool and spending time with his family. But above all else, he was the consummate family man and a loving father. He loved his baby sister, Lydia E. Collazo-Luna, with all his heart and was blessed with having her at his side during his last days of life. He was loved by all those who knew him and will be deeply missed by those he leaves behind.

Collazo-Luna Jr., Edmee Fleming (Joseph M.), Caroline Collazo, Jorge Guillermo Collazo; step-sons, Jose Luis Rodriguez Collazo (Rose), Carlos Ramos Collazo (Zori), and Edwardo Ramos Collazo; grandchildren, Joshua (Lisa), Jorge, Jonathan M. (Melissa) and Katelyn G. Fleming; Christian Collazo, Quinn Marquis Thompson, Lydiana Marie Thompson, Alex Gabriel Soto, Yessenia Rodriguez, and Carlos A.
