Joseph Salvatore Carfagno, age 85, passed away in the comfort of his Voorhees home on July 1, 2021.
Joseph was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late John and Consolata Carfagno. He bravely served in the United States Army for 4 years, reaching the rank of SP5. Joseph worked in the furniture repair business, beautifully refinishing many pieces over the years, specializing in black lacquer pianos. In his free time, Joseph enjoyed gardening, listening to music, and traveling.
Joseph is predeceased by his beloved wife of 49 years, Patricia “Patsy” Carfagno.
He is survived by their children, Christopher T. Carfagno (Bonnie), and Joanne Anthony; grandchildren, Kristina M. Ianieri (James), Joseph T. Carfagno, and Nicholas A. Carfagno; great-grandchildren, Erica and Maggie Cox, and Aldo and Ramona Ianieri; and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are welcome to a visitation on Saturday, July 17, 2021, from 10:00-11:00AM, followed immediately by a Memorial Service. Both will be held at Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054. Everyone is welcome to a luncheon at Carlucci’s Waterfront following the service, 876 Centerton Rd, Mt Laurel, NJ 08054.
