Obituary for Joseph John Cavalieri
Joseph John Cavalieri, age 85, of Moorestown, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 8, 2020.
Mr. Cavalieri was born in Philadelphia, PA and had resided in Mount Laurel, NJ before moving to Moorestown 38 years ago. Joseph served his country honorably within the US Air Force during the Korean War. He then went onto become the owner and head mechanic of Cavalieri’s Service Center, and proudly served the Moorestown community for 59 years. In his leisure, he enjoyed dancing, watching old movies and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by those he leaves behind.
Joseph is survived by his children, David Cavalieri, Donna Prohuchuck (Skip), James Cavalieri, Brian Cavalieri (Jean), Joseph Cavalieri; siblings, Maryanne D’Addario, Christine Kelly, Kathleen Graham, Patrick Cavalieri, Michael Cavalieri, John Cavalieri; grandchildren, Shawn Cavalieri, Andrew Cavalieri, Alexander Prohuchuck, Megan Cavalieri, Ryan Prohuchuck, Kylie Cavalieri, Braydon Cavalieri. He was predeceased by his sisters, Winifred Mangione, Eileen DiMarco, Patricia Martelli; brothers, William Cavalieri and Edward Cavalieri.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 15th from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM immediately followed by the funeral service, both at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ. Final disposition will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Joe’s name may be made to Samaritan Health Care & Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
