Obituary for Joseph Anthony "Coke" Ettore

Joseph A. Ettore, affectionately called "Coke", 94, of Marlton, New Jersey, passed away on April 24, 2024.

Born in Lilly, Pennsylvania to the late Nicholas and Francis (nee Ritz) Ettore, Joseph was raised in Philadelphia.  He was a resident of Mt. Laurel and Marlton for the past 30 years and a longtime parishioner of St. Joan of Arc Church.  A proud United States Army Veteran, Coke, served during the Korean War.  Prior to retiring in 1991, Coke was a machinist for Langston Company in Cherry Hill, New Jersey for 38 years.

A devoted family man, through and through, Coke was devoted to the love of his life, Jennie and they have been blessed with 70 years of marriage and two children, Lillian and Joseph.  A private man, Coke was a true gentleman.  He never spoke an unkind word nor raised his voice.  A work ethic that was unmatched, Coke was a hard worker and would often work double shifts to provide for his family.  He would do anything for them and always put their needs before his own.  When he wasn't working and spending time with his family, Coke would enjoy watching western movies and cheering on all of the Philadelphia sports teams.

Beloved husband of Jennie T. (nee Giordano); devoted father of Lillian (Charles) Ricciardi and Joseph (Elizabeth) Ettore; cherished grandfather of Leah (Austin) Bocchicchio, Michael Ricciardi, Rachael Ettore, Samantha Ettore and great grandfather of Leo and Grayson; dear brother of Mary Mento, Christine Martin, Kathleen Eicholtz and the late Martin, Arthur and Nicholas Ettore.  Coke is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Services for Coke will be announced at a later date.
