Obituary for Joseph R. Hanlon
Joseph Robert Hanlon, 87, previously of Mount Laurel and currently of Atco, NJ passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2019.
Mr. Hanlon was born in Philadelphia, PA and had resided in Mount Laurel for 46 years. He was a Sales Executive employed at Hygrade Food Products, Medford Meats and Berks Packing. Mr. Hanlon honorably served in the US Coast Guard. He was an active member of Saint John Neumann RC Church, the Holy Name Society and the Knights of Columbus.
Mr. Hanlon is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Marie A. (nee Kolb); children, Joseph (Terri), Mary Beth Fox (Jeffrey), Michael, Dianne Hanlon (Ed Pena), Margaret Fornaro (Rocco); grandchildren, Caitlin and Bridget Hanlon, Mackenzie and Katheryn Fox, and Olivia Fornaro. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marie Tereskun.
A visitation will be held on Monday, July 8th from 10:00 to 11:00 AM immediately followed by the funeral mass all at Christ the Redeemer, 318 Carl Hasselhan Drive, Atco, NJ 08004. Final disposition will be private at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
The family requests donations in memory of Mr. Hanlon be made to Samaritan Healthcare and Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, New Jersey 08053.
