Josephine C. Peltz, formerly of South Philadelphia; Wallingford, PA; Ocean Township, NJ; and West Grove, PA, passed away peacefully at home on August 6, 2021 at the age of 95.
Josie was the daughter of the late James and Josephine (nee Dunn) Lynch. She was a 1943 graduate of Hallahan High School and formerly employed by the Signal Corps, Philadelphia. Josie enjoyed reading, gardening, all animals esp. cats, and had a lifelong dedication to Saint Mary, the Blessed Mother. Josie was a wonderful mother who deeply loved all her family.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, William R. Peltz, and her sisters Margaret Murtaugh, Frances Stumm, and Elizabeth Murtaugh. She is survived by her loving children, Bill Jr. (Hattie), Betty Ann (Tom) Rubino, Francine Aquino, and Stephen, and grandchildren, Ralph jr, Josie, Willow, Sage, Brie, and Lark Aquino, Tess and Tommy Rubino, and Rachel and Andrew Peltz, many loving Nieces and Nephews, as well as her caregiver, Latonya.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Saturday, August 14th, 2021 from 8:30-10:00AM at Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30AM. It will be celebrated at Saint John Neumann RC Church, 560 Walton Ave, Mt Laurel, NJ 08054. Interment will follow at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield, PA.
