Obituary for Judith Helen "Judy" Yeager

Judith H. Yeager, age 63 of Mt. Laurel, passed away on February 17, 2021 at home surrounded by her devoted family.

Judy was a remarkable woman and an inspiration to everyone who met her. Born March 27, 1957 to Gerald and Helen Yeager. She suffered from Rheumatoid Arthritis beginning at the early age of 10. She fought bravely every day of her life. She worked hard and grew a successful business. She attended Rutgers University in Camden, NJ with the assistance of her mother. Judy graduated with honors from Rutgers with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and went on to obtain her Enrolled Agent License from IRS. She ran her own tax preparation and book keeping business and despite being severely handicapped Judy taught herself calligraphy and needle point. Judy and her mother, Helen, opened a business, J & H Tax Service, in 1981. She continued to run that business, employing six different women over the past 37 years. She traveled and lived a life of joy and freedom even with overwhelming physical limitations.

Judy was totally devoted to her family. She loved and protected all of them with passionate loyalty, as they did her. She especially adored her nieces and nephew, Bryanna, Paul, Jaclyn and Christine. All four children were raised right in the office and were often seen doing their homework on her desk, riding along in the wheel chair with her or playing computer games. Judy never missed an opportunity to attend their sporting events.

She is survived by her best friend and mother, Helen, her father, Jerry Sr, brother Jerry Jr. and sisters Carolyn (Ed) and Cheryl (Chris). She will be missed more than we can express.

Viewing will be from 4pm to 6pm at Mt. Laurel Home for Funerals Sunday, February 21, 2021. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish Center, across the street from the Church in Hainesport, NJ, on February 22, 2021 at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Jesus, Bread of Life Cemetery in Mt. Laurel.
